EVANGELISM
Elder Kenneth Porter is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He accepted the Lord as his personal savior, receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit during his youth. Focusing upon the direction of the Holy Spirit, he acknowledged the clarion call to ministry.
Upon the completion of his formal education, Dr. Porter pursued with unstinting diligence multiple institutions of learning. In an effort to cultivate and perfect the ministerial commission upon and within his life, he enrolled and completed studies at the Morris Cerullo School of Ministry and the Billy Graham School of Evangelism. Following his education, he organized and directed a Bible study in the West Philadelphia community where he resided. As a result, the Community Bible Deliverance Workshop was established. Maintaining his focus, the CBDW was readily transformed into the All New Community Bible Deliverance Church - remaining in the heart of West Philadelphia. Established in 1981 the ministry has taken on many transitions. As of 2018 the Pathway to Purpose Kingdom Ministries was instituted.
As a further response to the clarion charge of ministry, he founded the Community Bible Deliverance Family Worship Church in Wilmington, DE - "One" church in "two" locations. Dr. Porter has implemented outreach initiatives which focus on the spiritual as well as the "practical" needs of families. This includes food and clothing distribution, youth mentoring programs, prison and convalescent home ministries, as well as international and domestic missions.
Having founded these "ministries" upon prayer, in 1991 the Victory Covenant Prayer Partners International was constituted - a ministry of intercessory prayer that has enlivened an insurmountable number of individuals. Apostles, Bishops, Prophets, Evangelists, Teachers, Missionaries, and Laity akin have been stirred to advance their relationship and ministries through this awesome group of
connected, concerned and committed individuals.
Traveling the globe in Crusades, Revivals, Street Gatherings, Prayer Clinics, Workshops, Seminars, etc, Dr. Porter delivers a message of help, hope, inspiration, healing and deliverance. Dr. Kenneth Porter is an icon in his community and has been recognized by many in the city where he serves. He has received a plethora of awards, commendations, City Citations and two Honorary Doctorate of Divinity degrees.
These presentations are the result of his assiduousness in the spiritual as well as the natural development of persons. Although he humbly accepts each one and graciously thanks each well-wisher, his purpose, his focus remains the same – to win the lost at calvary's cost.
