God has a special calling for your life—a calling He wants you to live out.

There are many times in life where we operate on our own strength. When we do this, we step out of the remarkable power God has for us. This may not be done deliberately, but we are still operating out of self-reliance. Self-reliance fuels doubt and fear. When we operate out of self-reliance, we are telling God that we don’t need Him or His power. God’s power comes to us when we are surrendered, dependent, trusting and putting our faith in Him, above all things. Whether you know it or not, God has a special calling for your life - a calling He wants you to live out.

There are twelve amazing things that you can declare and decree each day according to faith in God’s word.

I declare

I am grateful for who God is in my life and for what He's done.

I declare

I am grateful for who God is in my life and for what He's done.

We all wrestle with thoughts about our life and the directions we take. It’s important that we declare how grateful we are for the work God has done in our lives and who He is in our lives. When something bad happens, don’t just throw out a few brief prayers for God’s help, and then move on in discouragement if the situation doesn’t change for the better soon. Instead, grab hold of God’s promises and fight to see them unfurled. If you’re ready for miracles to happen in your life, be persistent, praying until God gives you answers. Don’t give up praying about a situation until God’s power comes into it.

I declare

I will experience God's faithfulness.

God is always present in your life, even in your lonely and broken hours. It’s important that you remain faithful and not lose hope. The Bible tells us, “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” (Isaiah 40:31). You may feel like you’re alone, but God is right there. Scripture promises that the Lord will fight for us. We only need to be still. Trust that God is a constant presence in your life.

I declare

I have the grace I need today.

We are all in need of God’s grace in our lives. Grace, or unmerited mercy, is what God gave humanity when He sent His only Son to die on a cross. The beauty of God’s Grace is that it is unmerited. There are few requirements to inherit it and there is no limit to it. It’s ever-flowing. The beautiful thing about God’s grace is that He provides it to us without us evening asking. How incredible is that?

I declare

God's supernatural favor over my life.

Have you thought about the remarkable fact that after three years of teaching and training His followers, Jesus said they still weren’t ready? He had answered their questions, modeled every form of ministry imaginable and walked them through the Scriptures. But it still wasn’t enough. What they really needed was God’s power. We have the ability to tap into that supernatural power that leads to supernatural favor in our lives. You just have to trust God to lead you.

I declare

a legacy of faith over my life.

Many of us are facing impossible situations where we need a breakthrough in our lives. Yet, most of us sit and wait for God to make it happen, and then we wonder why it is, that we don’t experience breakthrough as often or as fast as we’d like. What we need to know is that breakthrough is not something we sit around and wait for. Breakthrough is God waiting on us to respond in obedience to what He has already commanded and already promised. Breakthrough happens when we take the first step against barriers in our life. Breakthrough happens when we say that we are going to trust that God is going to supernaturally do what is impossible. God does the breakthrough, but He’s waiting for us to take that first step of faith. We have to believe in God’s goodness, that God has already willed the breakthrough for our lives

I declare

that I have a sound mind filled with good thoughts, not thoughts of defeat.

God is present come rain or shine. He is even present when we fail to realize it, including times where we feel we are defeated. It’s important that we not only turn our focus back to praise when we begin to lose hope but also that we turn to praise in times of abundance. Many of us are quick to question God when things go wrong, but slow to honor Him when things go well. One of the biggest challenges here is turning every blessing He pours into our lives back into praise.

I declare

that I will live as a healer.

God’s actions reflect His immense love for us. Remember, the Lord is the Great Physician. There’s no wonder that there are so many accounts of Jesus healing people during His earthly ministry. The Bible tells us that Jesus was sent to heal the broken-hearted (Luke 4:18), that He will restore our health and heal our wounds (Jeremiah 30:17). Jesus not only carries all of your pain, but also has the power to heal you. Even in times of difficulty and uncertainty, God wants us to know that He is present and able to make us whole again. The beautiful part is that when God heals and restores, our lives are transformed. We also have the power to live as healers and turn our neighbors lives around with our words and actions.
